Books are cool, authors are cool and the Levine Museum of the New South in Charlotte, NC uses that power to get people in the door. Here’s what they do: they invite local authors in for a “talk”… which brings the authors fan base into the museum… and it gives the authors a way to promote themselves. Win/win.
Can you do something like this? Not sure what authors are in your area? Use AI or Google and ask this: book authors in (YOUR LOCATION HERE)
Once you have that list of authors, reach out to them and ask if they want to promote their latest book by having a book talk and signing at your museum. Phrase it like that with the benefit to the author being listed first.
