#1 Community Artists

The city of Louisville, Ohio (not the one in Kentucky) has recently posted a call for artist to design banners that will be displayed in the downtown area. Could you post on all your social media a call for local artists to design banners and artwork for a temporary exhibit in the front windows of your museum?

This will not only give you direct exposure to local artists, when those local artist pieces are in your front window they will most likely post about it on their social media. This means more local exposure for you. Everybody wins.

#2 Event Timeline

Are you going to have an event at your museum soon? Jenifer Belt (the Executive Director and events expert) of the Historic Stranahan House Museum relies on a timeline for planning all of her events. This timeline goes back months before the event begins and has the steps listed in the most effective chronological order. This helps her and her staff not become overwhelmed and keeps everything on track.
