#1 Give discounted entry to residents in different local neighborhoods

In the latest edition of the Trading Post Newsletter (the newsletter of the Stranahan House Museum in Fort Lauderdale, FL) it features this month’s “Neighborhoods of the Month.”  These neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale are eligible for a 20% discount off of admission. Next month it will be a different set of neighborhoods. Are there distinct neighborhoods around your museum that you can offer a discount to?  Discounted admission can also be a great source of social media content.

#2 Can your local library get people in your door?

The library near the ProRodeo Hall of Fame has a program where anybody with a library card can gain access to the museum (and other local attractions). Is there a way to get your local library to promote your museum?
